Death of man found shot in Raleigh begins homicide investigation
A 26-year-old man, found by police late Sunday in the 3100 block of Calumet Drive, was a homicide victim, officials said Monday.
The man’s name was not disclosed immediately, nor whether he lived in the apartment complex in that block.
The man, who had been shot, was pronounced dead at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, police said.
Officers were sent to investigate a report of gunshots in the area shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.
