Former President George W. Bush was in Raleigh Tuesday afternoon to raise money for U.S. Sen. Richard Burr’s re-election campaign.

The lunch event was held at the Carolina Country Club. Tickets required a minimum donation of $500, and for $2,500, donors could get their photo taken with Bush.

Bush did not hold any public events while visiting Raleigh. He was headed to Charlotte after the lunch for another Burr fundraiser.

While Burr supports the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, Bush has declined to endorse him.
