Atlanta Dream Players Share Honest Opinion of Angel Reese
Angel Reese has turned a new page in her WNBA career. After spending her first two years with the Chicago Sky, the 6-foot-4 forward is now moving on.
Reese is now with the Atlanta Dream following her blockbuster trade during the WNBA offseason. In exchange for the two-time All-Star, the Dream sent two future first-round picks to the Sky.
Reese concluded her time with the Sky with averages of 14.1 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 steals in 64 games played. The former LSU Tigers star led the league in rebounds for two consecutive seasons. However, Chicago missed out on the playoffs in both years.
Reese joins a star-studded Dream squad that successfully kept their core intact in free agency. Atlanta held a press conference on Friday to officially introduce Reese to the media. She was joined by some of her teammates, who had quite a lot to say about the Dream's latest recruit.
Three-time All-Star Rhyne Howard did not hesitate to share her honest opinion about how Reese was as an opponent.
"Any time Angel's been on the other side of the court I think I had about 30 [points]," Howard said.
All-WNBA guard Allisha Gray held a similar stance in terms of facing Reese and the Sky last season.
"I ain't gonna lie, last year, I loved playing against Chicago because I had my best games," Gray stated.
Naz Hillmon, the reigning WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year, got even more honest.
"Angel's annoying as hell to play against," Hillmon said. "So it's very nice she's on this side."

Despite the brutally honest takes, it is clear that the Dream players are very much looking forward to now being teammates with Reese. She was a difficult opponent, but they all know that she brings a lot to the table now that they are on the same side.
