Juan Soto Pays Tribute to Jalen Brunson With Signature Knicks Celebration
New York City is buzzing as the Knicks secured their first trip to the NBA Finals since 1999 with an Eastern Conference Finals sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Led by NBA superstar Jalen Brunson, the Knicks have won 11 games in a row dating back to their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks.
On Wednesday night, the New York Mets snapped a five-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the visiting Cincinnati Reds. After hitting his 12th home run of the season, Mets star Juan Soto deployed Brunson’s signature 3-point celebration as he trotted around the bases at Citi Field.
Soto was asked about the celebration postgame.
“We just got to keep cheering for the Knicks. Let’s go Knicks,” Soto said.
