Developed by Delphi Interactive in partnership with FIFA and Netflix Games, the title is designed around quick, accessible gameplay that allows players to jump into matches using only a TV, a smartphone, and a Netflix subscription.

FIFA Returns to Gaming

FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition represents FIFA's most significant gaming release since the organization ended its long-running partnership with EA Sports in 2022.

Since then, EA has continued its football franchise under the EA SPORTS FC brand, while FIFA has explored new gaming partnerships and digital initiatives leading into the 2026 World Cup.

The new partnership with Netflix Games and Delphi Interactive marks FIFA's biggest move back into gaming and gives the organization an official World Cup title launching alongside the tournament.
