UNC-Georgia football game time set
North Carolina's football season-opener has been set for a while now – a highly anticipated game against Georgia on Sept. 3 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff at the Georgia Dome. And now there's a start time, too.
ESPN announced on Monday that the UNC-Georgia game will begin at 5:30 p.m. It will be televised nationally on ESPN, which is airing a tripleheader of nationally televised games on the first full Saturday of the college football season.
ESPN's first game that day is Hawaii at Michigan at noon. UNC-Georgia follows at 5:30, and then it's Clemson at Auburn at 9. If you're counting – and UNC coach Larry Fedora has been known to count down these kinds of things – then as of Tuesday there are 109 days until UNC plays Georgia.
