The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Monday the details for season ticket renewals and new sales for the 2016-17 season, including a price freeze or decrease for existing full-season ticket members who renew their full-season tickets by May 6.
As part of the team’s renewal and new sales campaign, new and renewing plan members will be entered into the “30 Prize Giveaway” contest. This year’s contest features a trip on the team plane to a road game, player-autographed items and meet-and-greet opportunities, a $10,000 Diamonds Direct Crabtree shopping experience, lunch with Eddie Lack at Gonza Tacos y Tequila and other prizes.
The Hurricanes also are unveiling a new membership program for the 2016-17 season. Ticket plan holders now will be referred to as Season Ticket Members (STMs), with perks including invitations to year-round events, exclusive discounts with Hurricanes corporate partners and other benefits.
The 22- and 11-game plan members will continue to have flexibility in selecting the games for their plans, and also will be a part of the new membership program.
All STMs renewing or securing their 2016-17 plans prior to May 6 will qualify for a food and beverage credit based on their ticket package.
The Hurricanes have released pricing for 2016 playoff strips to plan holders. By renewing prior to April 2, STMs can lock in a guaranteed seat location and discounted tickets to all home playoff games should Carolina qualify for the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs.
