A slew of indie fusion artists are set to hit downtown Raleigh next month at the 12th annual Hopscotch Music Festival.

Organizers recently announced the headliners and acts for the festival that’s set for Sept. 8 to 10.

Headliners for the three-day event include bedroom pop artists Perfume Genius, Sonic Youth alum and art-punk soloist Kim Gordon, Australian singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett and Davy Crockett’s distant relative, Charley Crockett.

Other notable acts include jazz fusion artist Makaya McCraven, R&B and electronica blender Dawn Richards and Cactus Lee, fresh off the release of his new EP “Perfect Middle Hall.”

Hopscotch will be held at two main stages at Moore Square and at City Plaza on Fayetteville Street. Club shows will be held at the Pour House, 224 S. Blount St., and at Slims, 227 S. Wilmington St. Acts will be held at staggered times.

The festival will also feature an open-air art market in Moore Square in partnership with Pop-Up Raleigh, according to Hopscotch’s website. While the names of the specific vendors have not yet been released, the event’s lineup stated that additional acts and vendors would be announced closer to the event.

Three-day general admission tickets start at $175 per wristband, while VIP passes begin at $299 per wristband (before fees). Advanced, verified tickets are available exclusively through Etix. Hopscotch’s website states there will be an in-person box office called Wristband City.
