What to Watch Sunday: Lizzo performs live on MTV’s Video Music Awards show

Here’s what to watch on TV tonight.

MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) (8 p.m., MTV, The CW)

This year’s awards show is emceed by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow.

Nominees include: Emcee Jack Harlow is tied with Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X for the most nominations this year, with Doja Cat and Harry Styles following with six each. Also nominated: Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd have five noms each. The full list of 2022 VMA nominees can be found on the MTV site..

Performers include: Lizzo, Blackpink, Jack Harlow, Måneskin, Anitta, J Balvin, Marshmello x Khalid, Panic! at the Disco, Kane Brown and Nicki Minaj.

Presenters include: Ashley Graham, Avril Lavigne, Bebe Rexha, Becky G, Billy Eichner, comedy duo Cheech and Chong, Chlöe Bailey, Dixie D’Amelio, DJ Khaled, Dove Cameron, Joel Madden, Latto, Lili Reinhart and Offset.

Where to watch: It airs on The CW for regular TV watchers, and on cable channels: MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Paramount, TV Land, Nickelodeon, BET and CMTV.
