USA Today ranks NC-based biscuit restaurant among best regional chains in US
Biscuitville fans, we have good news. USA TODAY readers voted the Greensboro, NC-based restaurant among the best in America for regional fast food.
“These 10 fast-food restaurants are so good that they are worth traveling across the country to try!” USA TODAY 10Best said.
Good thing we don’t have to travel far for a hot biscuit and some sweet tea.
The annual 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards are determined by readers’ votes. Initial selections came from travel experts choosing the top 20 nominees in a number of categories, including best art museum, best farmers market, best outdoor water park and more.
As of July 13, many 10Best categories are still pending, and results will be announced over the next few weeks. All categories, winners and pending winners can be found at 10best.com/awards/travel.

Biscuitville wins for best regional fast food
▪ Biscuitville Fresh Southern: Biscuitville won a top-10 readers’ choice award for the best regional fast food in the United States.
“Headquartered in North Carolina with 55 locations throughout North Carolina and Virginia, Biscuitville is a family owned line of restaurants specializing in Southern food,” USA TODAY 10Best said. “Biscuits are baked fresh every 15 minutes for the menu of breakfast sandwiches.”

Biscuitville came in at #8 on the list. The top spot went to Dick’s Drive-In, a Washington-based hamburger joint.
There are over a dozen Biscuitville locations in the Triangle, with a few in Durham, Raleigh, Cary, Clayton and Fuquay-Varina. The most recent restaurant came to Garner in January.
