Next week you can expect a classic mid-July scorcher in the Triangle, with temperatures pushing into the upper 90s. Again.

But a fast food giant is looking to quench your thirst.

Local Chick-Fil-A restaurants — in the Triangle’s Raleigh, Durham, Cary area — are offering free iced tea next week, from Monday, July 15 to Saturday, July 20. Customers can get one free tea, either sweet or unsweet (if you’re into that), by ordering through the Chick-Fil-A app. The offer only applies to tea and not any of Chick-Fil-A’s other beverages.

“We wanted to help our Guests savor the sweetness of summer,” said Nick Welch, local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Crabtree Valley Mall in a news release. “We can’t think of a better way to cool off than with a delicious, refreshing Iced Tea.”

It doesn’t appear that any purchase is necessary. It’ll be hot all week, but customers can only get one free tea.
