Two men suffered life-threatening wounds in an early morning shooting at Patio Nightclub, Raleigh police said. It was the second shooting at the nightclub in seven months. The first was fatal.

Officers responding to the incident at around 1:30 a.m. found “two adult males with gunshot wounds,” police spokeswoman LaToya Hughes said in a press release Sunday. She described their wounds as life-threatening and said both had been taken to a hospital.

No arrests have been made.

Police officials have not responded to The News & Observer’s request for more information about the two men injured in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, the press release said.

Officers were summoned to the club last August for a similar incident, The N&O reported. Two men were shot in the early morning and transferred to the hospital where one later died, police said at the time.
