Paying over $4,000 a month in rent may sound steep, especially in Raleigh where the median rent for a two-bedroom hovers around $1,500.
But it’s becoming more common as the number of rich renters soars in the Triangle.
Case in point: This week’s Price Point features available rentals starting at around $4,100 and found no shortage of options.
Among them is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in The Allison at Fenton in Cary. Built in 2023, the apartment community is part of the multiplex Fenton, which opened to much fanfare last year. It offers a slew of amenities, including concierge services and on-site pet spa.
For the same price tag, affluent renters can also get settled in a five-bedroom house in Wake Forest or a three-bedroom house in Six Forks, one of Raleigh’s most popular neighborhoods.
