Here’s where you can get tested for COVID-19 in Raleigh, Durham and across the Triangle
About 200 medical facilities — including doctors offices, urgent care clinics and hospitals — across North Carolina are offering COVID-19 testing. If you want to get tested for coronavirus, here’s what you need to know and where you need to go.
Individuals who think they need a test should contact their health care provider and tell them their symptoms. In most cases, people experience mild to moderate symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and a loss of taste or sense of smell.
Here’s the full list of places to get tested for coronavirus in NC released by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. People should also call before going to one of these locations because some facilities require an appointment and/or a referral from a medical professional.
Wake County COVID-19 testing sites
- Avance Care is offering curbside COVID-19 testing at all 15 locations. In Wake County that includes Apex, Cary, West Cary, Central Raleigh, North Raleigh, Northeast Raleigh, Northwest Raleigh, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Morrisville and Wake Forest.

- FastMed Urgent Care Walk-in Clinic in Apex, Garner (N.C. 42) and Raleigh (Creedmoor Road)
- Duke Primary Care in Apex
- Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh
- Duke Urgent Care at Brier Creek and Harps Mill in Raleigh
- PM Pediatrics Urgent Care in Morrisville
- UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh
WakeMed and WakeMed Key Community Care are offering testing at several locations.
