UNC will introduce Hubert Davis as head coach in press event today. How to watch.

UNC will officially introduce its new men’s basketball coach at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

Hubert Davis, who played for legendary coach Dean Smith from 1988-92, will be the first Black head coach in the history of the program. He has spent the past nine seasons as an assistant coach under Roy Williams, who announced his retirement Thursday.

Here’s how you can watch the UNC press conference, which starts at 2 p.m.

▪ CBS 17 will stream the press conference on its website and via its news app.
