A probation officer found pictures showing Holland in the Middle Creek High School gym on Dec. 13, the night of a basketball game, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Holland was charged and convicted of four offenses in 2008, according to North Carolina’s sex offender registry.

He was convicted of two counts each of attempted statutory rape of a 15-year-old and attempted indecent liberty with a minor, the registry says. He was 25 at the time.

Holland was in prison from 2008 to 2016 and released on parole scheduled to end in April 2021, according to the N.C. Department of Public Safety.

He is being held in Wake County Detention Center without bail.
