Garner police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Thursday night.

Garner police have charged a woman with murder for allegedly shooting and killing her boyfriend Tuesday night.

Police were called to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of Isner Lane shortly before 10 p.m., according to a news release.

Tyika Lashon Johnson, 37, is accused of killing 44-year-old Stefan Winston Jr., who was found dead at the scene.

Police said they believe the shooting was a isolated, domestic incident but have not said what led to the shooting.
