Publix announces recall of Kool-Aid and Country Time that might have metal or glass
Publix announced that it was involved in KraftHeinz’s recall of some Tropical Punch flavored Kool-Aid for possibly containing tiny fragments of metal or glass and added two lots of Country Time Pink Lemonade.
KraftHeinz notified Costco customers of a Tropical Punch Kool-Aid recall last week.
This involved Country Time Pink Lemonade with expiration dates 2023-08-30 and 2023-08-31 and Tropical Punch Kool-Aid with 2023-08-31, 2023-09-01 and 2023-09-04.
“Due to the small particle size, third party medical experts believe accidentally ingesting the affected product is unlikely to result in injury or illness,” the recall noticed posted to Publix’s website said, “however consumers who purchased these items should not consume it and can either return it to the store where it was purchased, or discard it.”
People with questions can call KraftHeinz at 1-855-713-9237, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Eastern time.
