This house on the real estate market in Temecula, California, may appear rather bland on the outside upon first glance, but you may want to peer a little closer.
It has its very own observatory.
Priced at a modest $1.29 million (well, at least modest for digs in the Golden State), the four-bedroom, three-bathroom sits in a charming neighborhood, among an “exclusive enclave of homes” in a cul-de-sac. Placed in the front yard of the house, the observatory is “equipped to observe the many amazing galaxies,” the listing on Zillow says.
And the listing even proves that fact by displaying photos shot from the observatory.

But let’s be honest — that observatory is the main draw, at least according to Zillow Gone Wild. Fans were agog at having your very own place to stare deep into outer space, but gave a collective “meh” at the rest.
“I want it for the observatory,” one fan said.
“I love that they had to include pictures of outer space to hold your attention because the inside of this house is a snooze fest,” another wrote. “But that observatory is pretty cool.”
“That’s right by the wineries!!” one person said. “Great place to star gaze with little light pollution.”
“The observatory is awesome,” another commented. “The house is far too beige and lacking personality.”
“It’s worth it for the Observatory alone,” one person expressed.
“Staring into the vastness of space reminds us how insignificant we are,” another said. “So does looking at the interior of this house.”

“Okay... I’m not even mad about the price of this one,” another said.
