Three dogs fatally maul 2-year-old at babysitter’s house, Texas police say
Texas police are investigating after a 2-year-old girl was killed by dogs at a babysitter’s home.
On July 29, police were called to a home in Houston shortly after noon for reports of a “viscous animal,” according to a news release.
Authorities found a 2-year-old girl who had been attacked by three rottweilers at a babysitter’s home, police said.
Witnesses told police that the dogs attacked the girl inside the house.
The girl was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the name of the girl and are waiting for autopsy results. The dogs were seized by City of Houston BARC, an animal shelter and adoption center.
