Gambler turns $25 bet into life-changing slot machine jackpot at Las Vegas casino

A lucky gambler walked away from a Las Vegas casino with a life-changing jackpot prize.

The visitor sat at a Dragon Link slot machine Aug. 28 at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, the casino said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Then they bet $25, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.

The Las Vegas local won $1,016,561.42.

The player was in a high-limit room, and they had a remaining credit of $768 when they won.

“This marks the second time the $1 million Dragon Link Grand Jackpot has hit at Red Rock in exactly three months,” the casino said.

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is about a 10-mile drive northwest from the Las Vegas Strip.
