Poker player on Vegas vacation gets rare hand in 35 minutes and wins big jackpot
A gambler on vacation in Las Vegas won a big poker jackpot after playing for just 35 minutes.
Now the man is $150,158 richer.
The lucky visitor from Saskatchewan, Canada, sat at a poker table Oct. 3 at Flamingo Las Vegas, the casino said in a news release.
He ended up with a five-card straight flush, winning the jackpot.
His winning cards were 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in spades, a photo shows.
A straight flush is one of the rarest hands in the game, after a royal flush, according to Upswing Poker.
To get a straight flush, a player needs to get cards in consecutive order and in the same suit.
