Incumbents Kathy Behringer and Gra Singleton are both looking to keep their seats and are challenged by newcomer Rachel Tourdot.

Yes, Wearing masks and maintaining social distance effectively reduces the risk of spreading COVID 19.
Do you plan to vote in favor of Garner’s $69 million bond package for parks, streets and sidewalks, public safety and stormwater?
Yes, All four bond questions are directed toward much-needed improvements/enhancements for the town’s infrastructure, parks system, public safety (building new fire station No. 5) and updating/repairing the town’s aging stormwater system.
What is Garner doing right, and wrong, on managing growth?
We are in the process of updating our Unified Development Ordinance to address the growing housing needs, land use appropriateness, and to attract appropriate businesses that will bring jobs to our town and our citizens.
If elected, what would your two or three priorities be during your first year in office?
Supporting responsible, balanced growth, public safety facility needs and infrastructure improvements.
What unique skills or life perspective would you bring to city governance?
16 years service on Garner Town Council, six years service on Planning Commission, service on various committees and boards in the community.
