To start, after-school and virtual tutoring should be available for those students that require it. A reallocation of school funding my be required going forward.
What do you want to happen in North Carolina if Roe v. Wade is overturned?
We will need to see in what manner how Roe vs. Wade would be overturned first.
What should North Carolina do to reduce violent crime?
Minimum sentencing of one year, no parole, if a weapon is used in the commission of crime as a starter.
Should medical marijuana be legalized in North Carolina?
Yes, as long as it is prescribed by medical personnel.
What should the state’s minimum wage be? What policies would you support to help struggling North Carolinians?
Today, the state should repeal the gas tax for three months to help citizens today. The minimum wage should be at $15 NLT 12/31/2023.
Should North Carolina expand Medicaid, and how?
We should only approve Medicaid expansion when the legislature comes up with a plan to fund this long term.
