What are the three issues that you see as most important to your district and what will you do to address them?

Provide access to affordable healthcare services by expanding Medicaid. Road improvements — work with DOT and other local departments to improve the roads.

At a time when costs are rising, state government has a surplus. How should it be used?

Assist with housing affordability, fully fund the Leandro plan for a sound basic education.

Will you vote for Medicaid expansion in North Carolina?

Yes.

What has the legislature gotten right, and what has it gotten wrong, about public education in North Carolina?

It has not fulfilled its constitutional obligation of providing a sound basic education for every child.

Should North Carolina change its abortion laws? How?

There should be no restrictions on abortion.

A woman should have the right to make decisions about her reproductive healthcare along with her family and doctor.

Undecided.

We have hired experts to develop subject-based curriculum. Allow our LEA and educators to deal with those topics when necessary.
