Have you run for elected office before? No
Please list highlights of your civic involvement: I served as a volunteer youth pastor and led community outreach events which includes feeding low income communities.
What are the three issues that you see as most important to your district and what will you do to address them?
1. Tax cuts, I will push as hard as I can to allow the working class to have more financial stability.
2. Promoting liberty, it is very important to me that the freedoms that we enjoy today are passed down to our children.
3. Protection, my desire is for every community in our great state to feel safe and secure. Funding law enforcement and implementing proper training is the only way forward.
At a time when costs are rising, state government has a surplus. How should it be used?
It should be included in this year’s budget in addition to enormous tax cuts for the working class.
Will you vote for Medicaid expansion in North Carolina?
Undecided.
What has the legislature gotten right, and what has it gotten wrong, about public education in North Carolina?
I believe it is right in the aspect that every kid should have the opportunity to be educated. It is wrong when it tries to push a left leaning agenda rather than educate kids on basic subjects.
Should North Carolina change its abortion laws? How?
There should be a ban on abortion, with some exceptions.
Please add anything else voters should know about your position on the legality or availability of abortion in North Carolina.
Abortion on demand is a shameful thing. If the mother’s life is in danger, I can see where exceptions should be made.
Should medical marijuana be legalized in North Carolina?
Undecided.
What, if anything, should the legislature do to shape curriculum dealing with topics of race, sexuality and gender?
We should stop teaching Critical Race Theory and fluid pronouns. Our kids deserve to be educated in topics that will give them the best future.
Do you accept the results of the 2020 presidential election?
No.
