Bill Fleming: Christmas still on schedule

Regarding the Sept. 17 news article “HB2 could end, if Charlotte acts first”: Why should the city council of Charlotte sabotage its own protection of the LGBTQ community when we’ll have a new governor elected in November, and at that time this ridiculous law, House Bill 2, will be repealed?

As far as future events being canceled, the only one remaining is the annual visit of Santa Claus.
