Regina O’Donnell: Marching against misogyny

Regarding the Jan. 25 editorial “Mocking the march”: N.C. insurance commissioner Mike Causey’s Facebook post was a perfect example of the misogyny that prompted so many of us, men and women, to march on Jan. 21.

Was this a momentary “lapse of judgment” as Causey suggested as an excuse? I think not. Mature men who respect and care about women do not make such derogatory statements.

Causey has demonstrated for all why we gather, why we march.
