Don Clement: Socialist GOP?

As I was reading the March 25 news article “Sales tax plan may bring local rate increases,” I glanced out my window and was amazed to see a pig flying overhead. I then called my psychic friend who says she’s getting messages from the dastardly dead that they’re suddenly suffering frost bite.

The cause has to be that our Republican state Senate wants to (gasp!) redistribute wealth. It wants to take from the urban counties and give to the rural ones. To do so it is invoking the principle of “from each according to his ability and to each according to his need.”

Hmm, I trust that they’ll no longer be calling President Obama a socialist.
