The starting 11: The top players from Week Six of high school football.

Each week, The News & Observer honors the top 11 high school football performances from around the Triangle and Eastern North Carolina.

The Starting 11: Week Six

Tai Goode, St. David’s: Goode had seven touchdown during St. David’s 60-22 win over Parott Academy. Goode carried the ball 16 times for 119 yards and four scores, and caught three passes for 167 yards and three more touchdowns.

A.J. Boulware, Lee County: Running back finished with 242 yards on 16 carries and four touchdowns.

Bryce Jackson, Northern Durham: Knights’ quarterback completed 16 of 28 passes for 220 yards and two scores.

Hamilton Moore, Enloe: Senior rushed for 131 yards and two scores on 26 carries, and collected 10 tackles on defense.

Christopher O’Neal, Enloe: Rushed 11 times for 114 wins and one score in a win over Millbrook.

Elijah Mitchell, Louisburg: Carried the ball 13 times for 130 yards and three scores in a win over Bear Grass.

Xavier Jones, Louisburg: Rushed 21 times for 192 yards for the Warriors.

Lonnie Ellis, South Central: Linebacker finished with 17 tackles.

Kevone Harris, South Central: Rushed six times for 126 yards and two touchdowns.

Austin Cagle, Clayton: Completed 10 of 17 passes for 149 yards and one score.

Trevaun Richardson, Clayton: Carried the ball 23 times for 197 yards and one score.
