Charlotte Hornets celebrate NBA franchise 35th anniversary which started in 1988.


Since 1988, professional basketball’s been a part of Charlotte’s sports history (save for those two years no one likes to talk about when the city didn’t have a team). From the Hornets to the Bobcats and then back to the Hornets, many different NBA players suited up to play at the old Charlotte Coliseum and the Spectrum Center.
