ACC

College Football: Here’s how to find this weekend’s ACC games to watch from home.

College football is back, but in the COVID-19 pandemic era, that means televised games played in empty stadiums.

And that means more of us watching games from home.

And that means those of us in ACC Country might need a refresher on where to find the relatively new ACC Network, so that we can watch or stream those games. Some games will air on ESPN networks, ABC or Regional Sports Networks (RSN), such as Fox Sports South.

Skip down for details on how to find and watch the ACC Network, a collaboration between The ACC and ESPN that launched last year. But first, a quick look at this weekend’s ACC schedule (at least two games so far have been canceled or rescheduled because of coronavirus outbreaks, so schedules are subject to change at any time).

ACC football: TV start times for Sept. 19, 2020

Boston College at Duke: Noon on Fox Sports South

Syracuse at Pitt: Noon on ACC Network (ACCN)

USF at Notre Dame: 2:30 p.m. on USA Network

Charlotte at UNC: CANCELED

UCF at Georgia Tech: 3:30 p.m on ABC

Virginia at Virginia Tech: RESCHEDULED

Miami at Louisville: 7:30 p.m. on ABC

The Citadel at Clemson: 4 p.m. on ACCN

You can access the full 2020 ACC football schedule here, but be aware that the schedule is subject to change.

Which cable and satellite companies carry the ACC Network?

Of the cable and satellite providers available to local viewers, ACC Network has contracts with Charter’s Spectrum (the largest provider in North Carolina), AT&T Uverse, Google Fiber TV, DirecTV and DISH.

(NOTE: If you are a Spectrum customer but find you do not have access to ACC Network, you are likely a Time Warner “legacy” customer. Please read this for more info on how to get ACCN.)

On Spectrum, you’ll find The ACC Network on channel 388. It’s part of the Spectrum TV Select package, so you don’t have to purchase a special sports package

On Google Fiber TV, you’ll find ACCN on channel 221. A special sports package is not required.

On AT&T U-verse, you’ll find the ACC Network on channels 610 and 1610.

On DirecTV, the ACC Network is on channel 612.

On DISH, if you’re a subscriber with America’s Top 120+ or above, the Regional Action Pack or the Multi-Sport Pack, the Clemson-Georgia Tech game is on Channel 402.

Which streaming services carry the ACC Network?

You can watch the ACC Network with the following streaming services: YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV (note that this is not the same as regular Hulu), AT&T TV Now (formerly DirecTV Now), Sling, Fubo and Vidgo.

There is no a la carte option to subscribe to stream the ACC Network for a monthly fee, the way one might for HBO Now or CBS All Access.

NOTE: If you’re a Spectrum, AT&T, Google Fiber TV or DirecTV customer and want to stream the games, the ACC Network should be accessible through the ESPN app. Just use your log-in credentials for your carrier to get in.
