Hey, UNC fans: Limited-edition national championship bobbleheads are for sale
North Carolina sports fans have been spoiled with bobblehead options lately.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a limited edition figurine this week commemorating the North Carolina Tar Heels’ 2017 men’s basketball national championship season. It came just days before the group announced three new Cam Newton Dab bobbleheads.
The Tar Heels defeated the Gonzaga Bulldogs, 71-65, to claim the national title in a battle of No. 1 seeds in April – a point of redemption after falling by three points to Villanova in the 2016 championship game.
The bobblehead is an 8-inch-tall Rameses, UNC’s mascot, standing above the championship trophy.
It is currently available for pre-order online, for $40 plus shipping. The hall of fame group expects the UNC bobbleheads will be delivered in September.
