UNC heads to Final Four

UNC ended Saint Peter’s Cinderella run with a 69-49 victory in the Elite Eight. The Tar Heels will play Duke in the Final Four.

Final Four game times set

With one of the two NCAA tournament semifinals set, No. 1 seed Kansas and No. 2 seed Villanova will play in the early game Friday, with tipoff scheduled for 6:09 p.m.

The second game with No. 2 seed Duke and No. 8 UNC is scheduled to start at approximately 9:09 p.m.

Both games will be broadcast on TBS.

North Carolina sophomore guard Caleb Love started the game against Saint Peter’s wearing the Carolina blue Jordan 11 shoes that he changed into after a subpar shooting first half against UCLA. Love proceeded to score 27 points in the second half after switching from the black-on-black version of the Jordan 11s he had on in the first half.

Love isn’t necessarily superstitious. But he’s not wanting to make a change either.
