SNL parodies UNC coach, Jordon Hudson in skit with ‘Belichick Law’
The topic of Bill Belichick, NFL Hall of Famer and North Carolina football coach, and Jordon Hudson doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon.
“Saturday Night Live” made mention of the couple this weekend, noting their near 50-year age difference.
In the cold open skit, SNL shows President Donald Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, signing executive orders. One such order was called the “Belichick Law,” which would make it socially acceptable for a 70-year-old man to date a 24-year-old woman. Belichick recently turned 73 and Hudson recently turned 24.
“We’re gonna make girlfriends young again, OK. Old men can now date far younger women,” Johnson’s parody of Trump said, approximately two minutes into the skit. “We like that. It’s hot. But, in reverse, it’s quite disgusting, right? Very ‘Dateline,’ you know. Did you see Belichick’s girlfriend? She’s pretty hot, right?”
Mikey Day, playing Trump advisor Stephen Miller, said, “Yes, she is a beautiful creature.”
That portion of the skit garnered laughs from the live audience.
Belichick and Hudson’s relationship has garnered national attention not only for their significant age difference but for Hudson’s undefined role in his professional life.
Hudson, who is not employed by the University of North Carolina, went viral for her appearance at UNC’s public spring football practice when she was seen putting a microphone on Belichick. She went viral again for intervening during a CBS Sunday Morning interview. Belichick was asked how the couple met, and she said, “We’re not talking about this.”
Belichick claimed the interview was supposed to be about the contents of his new book, “The Art of Winning,” and said in a statement released by the university, not the athletic department, he did not feel the questioning reflected the request. CBS responded in a similar statement and disputed that an agreement was made. Hudson was named in the acknowledgments of the book. She was criticized for unprofessionalism by Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jennifer, in a comment on Instagram.
Additionally, Hudson has become in the last six months the manager of multiple LLCs tied to Belichick’s name and assisted him in filing requests for trademark on several phrases, including “Chapel Bill.” She claimed on LinkedIn to be the Chief Operating Officer of Belichick Productions from August 2024 to February 2025, though no record of that has been found in multiple corporation searches.
Shortly after his hire, Belichick requested that Hudson be copied on all university emails sent to him. She later began advising the university on how to handle social media comments and staff announcements.
The UNC athletic department has refused to answer questions regarding Hudson’s role related to the football program, saying its representatives will not comment on Belichick’s “personal business.”
