By now, you may have heard that Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper fired head coach Frank Reich after 11 games.

Reich led the team to a 1-10 start — the worst record in the NFL through 12 weeks — and usually that would lead to the No. 1 overall pick, but Carolina traded its pick to Chicago as part of the deal that brought the 2023 No. 1 overall pick, former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, to Charlotte.

Reich was seen as a brilliant offensive mind who could guide Young to greatness. But so far the results have been far from great. The Panthers have scored 173 points in 11 games. Only the Patriots (148) are worse.

While No. 2 overall pick CJ Stroud — a player the Panthers considered drafting — has thrived in Houston, Young has struggled here. Stroud ranks No. 2 in the NFL with 3,266 yards, behind Union County native Sam Howell of the Commanders (3,339). Young is 27th, with 1,877 yards.

So who’s to blame for this season gone so wrong? Is it the quarterback? The coach? The owner?

Have your say in our poll, which closes Friday at noon.
