Luke DeCock’s AP Top 25 basketball poll ballot: Week 9

As the WOPR taught us in WarGames, sometimes the only winning move is not to play. Gonzaga becomes one of very few teams to keep the No. 1 for more than a week by taking the week off. (Taps temple with finger.)

Even in an extremely light week — a total of 20 games played by the 25 teams on this ballot — two of the top four still managed to lose. It’s just that kind of season. Tennessee exits, West Virginia jumps into the top 10 and Wichita State makes its debut (over Colorado).
