Welcome to Feed the Need 2012

One child in four in our community will go hungry tonight. That's not the way things should be.

Won't you join us and make a difference for kids in need? Here's how:

• Donate food: From April 1-21, donate nutritious, nonperishable foods in plastic or metal containers at your neighborhood Harris Teeter.
  
  
• Make a tax-deductible donation: Click on the link above to donate online or download a form to mail.
  
  
• Give on Feed the Need Day:On Saturday morning, April 21, look for volunteers at select Harris Teeter stores who will accept donations of food and cash.
  
  
• Become informed:Watch The N&O and its network of 10 community newspapers for news articles, photographs and columns highlighting hunger and the food bank's work to end it, along with ads inviting you to contribute.

In just five years, Feed the Need has been responsible for providing more than 1.19 million meals to hungry people in our community. Feed the Need supports the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, one of our community's most effective and respected nonprofits.
