Man, 50, found shot to death at Durham’s Weaver Street Park housing project

Police found a man shot to death Thursday night at the city’s Weaver Street Park housing project at 119 East Cornwallis Road, they reported.

Police were called about 10:20 p.m. and told someone had been shot, a spokeswoman said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. Police did not immediately disclose the man’s identity.
