Morrisville woman found dead in her neighborhood pool
Police are investigating the death of a 66-year-old woman who was found in a swimming pool Tuesday morning in the subdivision on Mason Farm Road where she lived.
They identified the woman as Anna Sun Clark, 66, who lived on Jadewood Drive. The pool in the Providence Place development is at the corner of Jadewood Drive and Mason Farm Road, but officials did not say if Clark lived near the pool.
The call went out about 8 a.m. as a drowning, but police said the circumstances were unclear.
A maintenance worker discovered Clark’s body. Police have not said how long she had been in the water. They said she already was dead when EMS personnel arrived at the pool.
Police Chief Patrice V. Andrews, who was at the scene, said Clark had no obvious traumatic injuries, and she was not dressed for swimming.
