17-year-old arrested as third suspect in Raleigh homicide
Police have arrested a teen who is the third of three people charged with murder in a Sunday-night shooting on Calumet Drive.
Isiah Adler Ulysse, 17, was arrested at his home at the Woods of North Bend apartments off Spring Forest Road, records showed.
Police said Wednesday that they had charged Ulysse, Christopher Malik Bradby, 23, of Raleigh and Jabari Olajawan Mar Thorpe, 24, of Durham in the death of 26-year-old Brandon Alexzander Chavis.
All three were taken into custody during the morning Wednesday.
Police found Chavis fatally wounded about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of Calumet Drive. He was pronounced dead at WakeMed Hospital a short time later.
Police have not said if they know a motive for the Chavis’ killing. He lived near where he was shot, family members said.
