Duke heads to Indiana, will face Archie Miller in upcoming ACC/Big Ten Challenge
Duke will face off against Indiana – and its new coach Archie Miller – in this year’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge, the ACC announced Thursday.
Also on the schedule is Michigan at North Carolina and Penn State at N.C. State. Dates and times for the games have not been announced.
The Blue Devils will play on the road in the Challenge for the first time in three years and will visit the Hoosiers, who are coached by former N.C. State point guard and first-year Indiana coach Miller. Duke is 3-0 against Indiana in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, and last won 94-74 at Cameron Indoor Stadium in 2015.
New N.C. State coach Kevin Keatts and the Wolfpack will try to snap a three-year ACC/Big Ten Challenge losing streak when they play at home against the Nittany Lions, who went 15-18 last season.
The Tar Heels’ game against the Wolverines will be the teams’ first matchup since the 1993 national championship, which North Carolina won 77-71. UNC, coming off another national title, will host Michigan, which won the Big Ten tournament before losing in the NCAA tournament Round of 16 this past season.
