Jordan was last at his alma mater to introduce a partnership between the Jordan Brand and Tar Heel football on March 4 in the Dean E. Smith Center, about a month before the basketball team went on to win the 2017 NCAA Championship.

The university will honor that championship team on Saturday with a ring ceremony at halftime.

The Tar Heels will play Louisville at noon Saturday in Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. The game will be aired on ESPN.
