Maui Invitational schedule announced – get ready for late UNC games
Those interested in watching North Carolina in the Maui Invitational in November can begin planning their daytime nap schedules. The Tar Heels’ first game in Maui will begin near midnight Eastern Time, and their second game isn’t likely to be much earlier.
UNC opens the Maui Invitational against Chaminade, the tournament host, on Nov. 21 at 11:30 p.m. EST. If the Tar Heels win – and it’d be a significant upset if they didn’t – they’d play either Oklahoma State or Connecticut on Nov. 22 at 10:30 p.m.

A victory in its first two games would put UNC in the championship game on Nov. 23. The top half of the Maui Invitational bracket includes Tennessee and Wisconsin, who will play each other in the early game on Nov. 21, and Georgetown and Oregon, who play each other in the second game.
UNC (No. 6), Oregon (No. 7), Wisconsin (No. 8) and Connecticut (No. 24) are all part of ESPN.com’s “way too early” preseason top 25. The Tar Heels will be playing in the Maui Invitational for the seventh time, which is more than any other team.
