Was Elizabeth City State University smart in asking to come back on SB873?
With Elizabeth City State University being the lone Historically Black College and University included in Senate Bill 873, we examine the potential benefits the bill will have on the school.
On this episode, I interview Western Carolina Chancellor David Belcher to get his thoughts on why he supports Senate Bill 873. We also hear from Senate leader Phil Berger on the reason Senate Bill 873 was created, and why the three HBCUs were initially included.
And we ask the questions, did Winston Salem State and Fayetteville State Universities make the wrong decision in asking out? Did Elizabeth City State make the right decision in asking to be back in?
