Pixies bring tour to Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater

The Pixies brought their alternative rock to the Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater Friday night.
The group, which formed in 1986 in Boston, played from their vast catalog, including songs from their certified platinum album “Doolittle.”
With dozens of songs to choose from, no setlist from their tour is the same from night to night. The band features Black Francis with vocals and guitar; Joey Santiago on guitar; David Lovering on drums; and Paz Lenchantin on bass.
This concert’s opening acts were Bully and Franz Ferdinand.
