A casting company is seeking hundreds of campus background extras for a movie filming in Chapel Hill this July.

Cherrix Casting is “looking for men and women, aged 18-65+, from all backgrounds and ethnicities, to portray campus background roles.”

The project is being called “Strawberry Fields,” which isn’t listed on the NC Film website for upcoming projects. (Reddit users speculate this could be code for the big Amazon series “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and the name change helps ensure people aren’t sneaking onto the set.)

Here’s what to know and how to apply.
