Another first-to-market brand has selected North Hills in Raleigh for its Triangle debut.

Known for its sustainable practices, the women’s clothing brand Reformation is opening a store in the Kane Realty development’s Main District — taking a space between J.Crew and the forthcoming Veronica Beard — another new-to-the-Triangle brand.

This location will be the retailer’s second in North Carolina, following a store in Charlotte.

The Raleigh store is expected to open in the first half of 2026, according to a news release.

“North Hills continues to attract retailers that blend style, quality, and experience, and we’re pleased to welcome Reformation to Raleigh,” Stacey Buescher, managing director of operations for Kane Realty, said in the news release. “Their commitment to sustainable, fashion-forward design aligns perfectly with what our community values.”

What is Reformation?

Founded in 2009, Reformation has a history of eco-conscious practices. In 2024, for example, 98% of the materials it used were recycled, regenerative or renewable, according to its sustainability report. The company’s goal is to be climate positive by 2025, which means it would be offsetting more carbon emissions than it produces.

Its sustainability may appeal to shoppers who want to support brands that are better for the environment.

Here’s how much those shoppers might pay for Reformation’s pieces: Based on its website prices, jeans start at about $170. Mini dresses are sold for $100 and up, and cardigans start at $150.

For comparison, J. Crew, which will be Reformation’s neighbor, is selling regular-priced women’s jeans for $150 and up, mini dresses for $160 and up, and cardigan sweaters for $140 and up.

What else is opening at North Hills?

Other than Veronica Beard, which is expected to open in early 2026, businesses that have announced plans to join North Hills are centered around food and drink.
