Whole Foods Market will open its third location in the Wake County town, the grocer confirmed to The News & Observer in an email.

The grocer did not provide an estimated opening date for the new Cary store.

New grocery stores in Western Wake
Whole Foods Market is not the only grocer to announce plans to expand in Western Wake County.
A new IndiFresh Supermarket is coming to Apex, The N&O reported, with a groundbreaking expected in July. The 18,000-square-foot store will anchor the Glenn Square development off Highway 64 near Costco.
And Apna Bazar, which has one location off Davis Drive in Morrisville, is expected to open at the Freedom Square shopping center at 8375 Green Level Church Road in Apex.
