While new home sales are slowing across the Triangle, prices remain high.

A property in the 3100 block of Cornwall Road in Durham’s historic Hope Valley suburb sold for $2,555,000, or $575 per square foot, on Oct. 3, 2023.

The 4,443-square-foot single-story home, built in 1984, offers three bedrooms, five bathrooms and a two-car garage.

In Raleigh, a single-story house at 3300 block of Alleghany Drive sold for $1,650,000 on Sept. 15. That works out to $470 per square foot.

The 3,510-square-foot property, built in 1957, includes a backyard with a pool.

And a new-build two-story house in the 7600 block of Harps Mill Road, also in Raleigh, sold on Sept. 15. The price tag: $1,850,000.
